History

In April in the year of 2001, I released the Rose.pcg and RoseCOMBI.pcg. The main goal of these programs were to provide Triton-users around the world with some free sounds for their Workstation.
The release came as a big surprise to most users, who desperately had search for new, free sounds to work with. I got great responses to the release, and thought I would do a sequel, just to please the hard-working Triton-users out there.

It all began as a project at Triton Central - I wondered if anyone was interested in swapping some pcg:s for Triton. It became a success - since then the world has seen people like Nightshadow, Thand, FutureOne, Michiel Van Erp amongst others, share both .kmp/.ksc and .pcgfiles.
Like a red, red rose that´s newly sprung in June, it popped up some software-developers for the Triton as well - a great contribution has already been done (and in progress) by 2ndEvidence (MOSSquito), TritonFun (TritonFun & KARMA-converting), Stuart Pryer (TritonController), Xavier (Alchemist).
If I forgot someone, I´m truly sorry...

Presentation of RoseII.pcg

The project started as a sequel to Rose.pcg, and contains of sounds in different types - mainly SlowSynths, MotionSynths and FastSynths. The replies I got from Rose.pcg helped me a lot in the programming, because without the users remarks I wouldn´t know if I were on the right track or not.
In Rose.pcg there´s too much reverb on many of the sounds - this has been noticed by some of the users, and therefore I made the sounds in RoseII a bit less reverbing (if any). In Rose.pcg, I used some multisamples for the first four sounds. I haven´t used any multisamples for the RoseII, due to the fact that multisamples must be loaded again in every new session.

Acknowledgement

The people behind the eminent TritonCentral and TritonHaven have all my respect, and so does the members of the boards at TritonCentral and TritonHaven. Some special thanks must go to:
Michiel Van Erp for giving great replies and helping me out in many ways.
2ndEvidence for providing MOSSquito and being patiently helpful.
Thand for a great work and cooperation on our mutual kmp/pcg-file.
Nightshadow for quick responses, helpfulness and making the files available to everyone.
Angelo at TritonHaven for kind replies and making the files available to everyone.
Niteflame for giving me great replies when I needed it the most.
TSYT for providing great responses that´s very thoughtful.
Vance for the great TritonLib utility.
Charlotte for her kind belief in me, and the fact that she sticks with me though I´ve seen more of the Triton than her lately...
My kids for dancing to my music.
If anybody feels left out of the list, please don´t feel anger, ´cause then the fault is all mine and could be blamed on my memory-capacity.
